About Us

Fostering boundless connections between our former students and the institution they call home.

About Us

Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, the sole autonomous government college in Kerala, has consistently maintained an eminent position in the annals of educational and cultural history of the state since its establishment in 1875. The college provides quality education to students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds without compromising on academic excellence. Accredited with an ‘A’ grade and a NIRF ranking of 53 in the College Category, the college boasts a rich legacy of distinguished alumni, including prominent political figures, accomplished writers, artists, scientists, influential thinkers, and successful business entrepreneurs.

Origin of Maharajas Alumni Association (MAA)

The idea of forming the Maharajas Alumni Association (MAA) emerged from a shared vision among former students to create a structured platform that could unite the vast and diverse alumni community of Maharaja’s College. What began as informal efforts to reconnect and contribute to their alma mater gradually evolved into an organized initiative in 2023, when a core group of committed alumni came together to establish MAA with a clear purpose—to strengthen alumni engagement, support institutional growth, and preserve the college’s legacy for future generations.

About MAA

MAA would implement a sophisticated system with a centralized platform to facilitate tracking, reconnection, and engagement with the alumni.
