Student Alumni Relationship Cell (SARC)

The Student-Alumni Relationship Cell (SARC) of Maharaja’s College serves as a vital bridge connecting the past and the present. Rooted in the legacy of one of Kerala’s most prestigious institutions, the cell works to foster meaningful relationships between current students and the alumni community.

Objectives
  • It can associate with MAA to help institutions manage their alumni networks, including database management, event planning, and communication.
  • SARC team work MAA of the institution for various activities, such as reaching out to alumni, organizing events and facilitating career opportunities for students.
  • SARC team can support the activities MAA in Building and maintaining an alumni database, organizing networking events and reunions, facilitating mentorship and career guidance for students, promoting alumni engagement through various networks, generating sponsorships for college events, Assisting with job and internship placements for students.
Structure of Student Alumni Relationship Cell (SARC)
  • Patron
    • Principal of Maharaja’s College
    • Provides overall guidance and institutional support
    • Endorses major initiatives and represents the Cell officially
  • Faculty Coordinator(s)
    • 1–2 senior faculty members nominated by the Principal
    • Acts as the official point of contact between students and administration
    • Oversees planning and execution of all Cell activities
  • Alumni Coordinator
    • A prominent alumnus/alumna (voluntary role or nominated by Alumni Association)
    • Acts as a liaison between the alumni community and the Cell
    • Assists in outreach and planning alumni engagement activities
